This advanced imaging technology allows our dentists and team to view 3D images of the inside of your mouth, producing high-quality images of your teeth and supporting structures that make it easy for us to diagnose developing problems and provide you with more effective treatments.

How iTero Scanning Works

The iTero scanner is quick and comfortable, capturing up to 20 images per second in full color. Our dentists or a member of our team will simply pass a small wand over the inside of your mouth. As this wand passes over the teeth the images will be captured and process simultaneously, offering an immediate, complete and highly accurate image of your mouth. These photos are even saved automatically, preventing the need for a second scan, and the scan can be stopped and started as needed to ensure your comfort.

These captured images can be used to:

• Distinguish between healthy and diseased tissue
• Build accurate digital models of your mouth
• Create aligners, appliances and restorations that fit and function better
